Dr. Froman is in network with Anthem. Please check with Anthem to learn about your naturopathic medicine coverage. Every plan is different, while naturopathic medicine is at least partially covered on most plans, some plans require referrals while other plans do not cover naturopathic services.
What to expect in a visit?
New Patient Appointment
New Patient Appointments are 60 minutes appointments, to give us time to delve into your health concerns, medical history, physical assessment, and time to discuss the starting place for treatment.
Treatment plans are individualized and may include conventional lab work, specialized functional testing, supplementation, medications, diet and/or lifestyle modifications.
Follow Up Appointments
Follow up appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes and can be in-person, phone, or video. We review tests together, discuss how treatment is going, and make modifications as needed.

Supplements
Dr. Froman uses a variety of herbal, mineral, and vitamin supplementation to treat and support the body.
Nutrition
Dietary Modifications can make a significant difference in someone’s digestive health and overall sense of well-being. That being said, the only food that Dr. Froman labels as bad is trans fat. While some people may benefit from limiting foods like dairy or grains, that does not make them bad!
Lifestyle Modifications
Sometimes all a good night sleep takes is some habit changes. Exercise can work better than supplements to decrease cholesterol. Breakfast helps with anxiety the rest of the day. It can be that simple, even though these kind of changes can be hard.
Pharmaceutical Medications
There is a time and a place for medications. However, the prescribing rights of naturopathic doctors is limited in the state of Maine. Dr. Froman does prescribe as she is able to.
